What information we collect

When you submit a quote request, we collect: your name, phone number, property address, and a description of your project. We also automatically record: the page you submitted from, the date and time, your IP country (not your specific IP), your browser user-agent, and any UTM parameters or click identifiers (gclid, msclkid) attached to the URL you arrived from.

How we use it

We use this information for one purpose: to connect your quote request with a licensed heat pump installer in your province who has capacity for new work. That installer uses your contact details to send you a written quote, typically within 24 hours, and may contact you by phone, text, or email to do so. By submitting the form you consent to this contact.

Who we share it with

We share your quote request with one vetted licensed heat pump installer partner serving your province — never with multiple bidders competing for the same job. In a province where we do not yet have a direct installer partner, we may instead pass your request to a reputable Canadian installer network so your request still reaches someone who can help; we never post your details to a public marketplace or sell them to advertisers or marketers. We retain your contact information to operate the platform and for our own brief follow-up (one or two emails to confirm you received your quote).

Your consent and how to withdraw it (CASL)

Submitting the quote form is your express consent for us, and the installer partner we connect you with, to contact you about your request under Canada\'s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Any commercial message you receive will identify the sender and include a way to unsubscribe. You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hello@heatpumpinstallationcanada.ca, after which we will stop contacting you and ask our installer partner to do the same.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages of the site are useful and which aren\'t. GA4 sets first-party cookies that anonymize your IP. We also use Google Ads conversion tracking, which sets cookies if you arrived from a Google Ads click. You can disable cookies in your browser without losing access to any site content — the quote form works without cookies.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information at any time by emailing hello@heatpumpinstallationcanada.ca. We will respond within 30 days. Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA) applies to this site.
